Ape, an out-of-work painter turned derelict bum, is the monkey in the middle in this experimental drama with three interlocking stories. Ape is recruited by a stripper and her street punk girlfriend to bring down a human trafficking operation run by a loan shark and his goons. Caught in this web of conspiracy is Judy who owes money around town, and Daphne who is after the pot at the end of the rainbow. All three stories intertwine in this 70s-styled/eclectic black-and-white anti-hero film.
