Part found-footage, part mockumentary, Transmission follows Rachel Roth (Nicole Cinaglia), who is trying to understand her missing grandfather's past. Her grandfather, Frank Roth (Vernon Wells), was a successful horror film director with a cult following, until his leading actress was murdered and he disappeared. Looking through his belongings, she discovers that he studied occult rituals so he could portray them accurately in his his final film, Transmission, which is rumoured to be cursed. Blurring the lines between fiction and reality, Rachel tempts fate by watching the film and comes face to face with the devil.
