Marie is a struggling actress who suffers with ADHD and depression, and is preparing for a comeback film. Her long-term relationship with Amy goes through cycles of highs, lows and moments when the relationship is at its breaking point. After a night apart following another explosive argument, Marie and Amy make up but tension still simmers below the surface. Marie has grown too reliant on Amy, who feels like the financial responsibilities have been left to her, and her own stress and bi-polar disorder causes her to be erratic. As their latest cycle heads toward another break up and Marie is faced with the sobering reality of her creative pursuits, she must decide whether or not to repeat, or finally break, the cycle.
