Ape, an out-of-work painter with a penchant for being self-destructive, writes a screenplay in a strip bar to make money, resulting in his wife leaving him. But, Ape has his brains bashed in when he discovers a teen porn ring and threatens to expose the goons involved. Told with an experimental edge, "Goin Ape", manages to satisfy even the "Blood Feast" movie enthusiast and will make you question juxtaposed metaphors of imagery and the nature of the film within the film.
